I’ve had more than a few “down” days. Everybody does. But brain injury survivors like me have more.

It’s not a competition, but the brain controls everything–like sleep problems, emotions, hunger, touch, breathing. In other words, every process that we accomplish which regulates us, the brain is in charge.

Difficult to know whether you’re feeling depressed or have depression?

Developed in Australia, the anonymous Anxiety and Depression Test (K10) asks 10 questions about how you’ve been feeling over the past 4 weeks. Australian doctors and mental health professionals use this test known as the K10.
